Lg Ke800 Chocolate Platinum Review
The LG KE800 Chocolate Platinum is more than just a name change to the Chocolate phone. Features in the LG KE800
The black front panel of the LG Chocolate Platinum has the appearance of seamlessness until the 31 mm wide by 41 mm tall screen is turned on, displaying 262 K colours. Below the screen which glows red upon activation is the navigation keys, soft keys, a cancel key and a call key. The touchpad is sensitive to both heat and touch so it works only when it is touched with your hand.
The dedicated camera with auto-focus and an LED photo light, which is great for MMS messages and wallpaper photos and the buttons that control the MP3 player are found next to the end-call key. The camera lets you modify the white balance, add effects, choose resolution and size, use a timer, and it lets you toggle the flash off and on.
The covered charging port on the top right-hand side of the phone doubles as a headphone port and USB port and you can adjust the MP3 player and respond to calls from the included headset. If you don't care for the proprietary headphones, there's an 3.5mm adapter which allows you to use your own set. Two volume buttons are on the phone's left side, but the back has only the small LG logo on a complete black case.
Once you operate the slider, the keypad and the 2 MP camera with portrait mirror and flash appear. The slide opens easily and smoothly and the camera lens is protected by the slide from scratches.
Other features include games, world time, unit converter, calculator, memo, calendar, voice recorder, video album, video recorder, an email client, stereo Bluetooth, SMS and MMS messaging, a WAP browser, and a speakerphone mode.
